Business Development Research Advisor
The Federation of Victorian Traditional Owner Corporations is seeking applications for a person to support economic and business development opportunities focusing on Victorian Traditional Owner groups.
The Federation of Victorian Traditional Owner Corporations is the peak body in Victoria providing a collective voice for Traditional Owners to self-determine their future.
Our vision is for Traditional Owners to be strong on Country and leading the political, economic and cultural landscape.
About the position
This position is fixed term, part time position for up to six months.
The primary role is to support and develop sound business and market qualitative and quantitative research and information and strategic research to support key economic development projects.
The person will work within the team of advisors in the Federation with tasks and responsibilities to identify and progress potential business and strategic development opportunities.
To be successful in this role
We are looking for
• Knowledge of and experience with the Victorian Aboriginal community and Traditional Owner Groups
• Skills, knowledge and experience particularly in relation to and strategy development, participatory planning, business and market research and development
• Ability to work autonomously and in teams, with strong project management skills, and availability to travel (within Victoria)
